If You Hurt in Bad Times

Though people of ill fate cry of athousand pains
If you hurt in bad times then that is some thing

There is some some body called Nilofar Izhar.
She has come up up with the accusation that there is gender discrimination at AMU.
This is based on her observation there has been no female VC of AMU.
Or female PVC. Registrar. And so on.
AMU fraternity will take it on the chin but will not respond.
They should.
AMU is a minority institution and the rights of the minorities have not been fully delivered till now.
It was known to the minorities for long, including to people like above mentioned person, but it even became official after the presentation of the Sachar Commission Report.
Now when the a unit of democracy, called the minorities, have not got their own rights delivered to them then why this cry about things like gender discrimination at AMU. The western idea of man-woman equality has gone to the brain of some people and it is mighty difficult to convince them about the fallacy of the western concept of equality.
And they can make defenders of Islam look very bad. Just like traitors.
Luckily there are people in Alig fraternity who have seen through this facade.
And they also have started speaking - as seen in case of Maulana Azad Library access to girls issue.
Some more assertion is required on part of Alig community so as to completely and decisively neutralize these internal detractors of the social group for whose rejuvenation Sir Syed Ahmed Khan dedicated his life.
One can start by telling them some home truths that might look disconnected to the present issue but they are not.
One is the USSR defeat in Afghanistan leading to collapse of communism as a practical ideology. The second is the defeat of the residual western forces in the same place and practical collapse of the ideology that these detractors carry. It need a little bit of assertion to impress upon these people that though we do have problems in life but we would like to solve them according to the formula of our dear founder and not the jumping Jacks and Janes inspired by the west. The master key of our dear founder was the crown of no god but God on our heads.
