Ask Don Corleone

BBC asks as to why so many Air Line CEOs are Irish. Well ask Don Corleone.

Irish Flying High

Dermot Mannion, deputy chairman of Royal Brunei Airlines
Conor McCarthy, helped set up Jetstar, now heads Dublin Aerospace
Donal Rogers, ex-CEO of vivaAerobus in Mexico, still a member of the executive board
Tony Ryan, founder of Guinness Peat Aviation and Ryanair
    Michael O'Leary, Ryanair CEO
Willie Walsh, International Airlines Group CEO
    Alan Joyce, Qantas CEO
Charlie Clifton, ex-CEO of Tiger Airways based in Singapore, also helped run Webjet in Brazil

But do we worry when Japan beats ever body in electronics, China in mass production, Germany in machines. Same about French and Indian in food. So what is the big deal?
