Sizable Doubts

A large number of American people think that Iraq and Afghanistan wars were not worth it.
This is strange.
This might be thought of as a good news by those who resent US/NATO operations in these countries but US public is more focused on their own growth rate. The least that can be said is that these wars have not contributed to US growth rate.
Now a commercial break.
There was an American comedian called Grouco Marx. He said that if a black cat crosses your path then it signifies that the animal is going some where.
Break over.
Can one conclude that Taliban have single handedly neutralized the most powerful superpower (apologies for the repetition) ever seen by history? (See also this report on Taliban success story by BBC.)
