France and Islam

The two things are not getting along fine at the present moment, France and Islam.
The ban on hijab can be cited as an example.
Now there is this study that in French suburbs Muslim are turning away from the state and towards Islam.
This is an academic study and can be used both ways.
One possible attitude can be, on part of the state, that the citizens are getting alienated and the policies should be reviewed so that corrective steps can be taken to address their problems.
There is one more possible attitude-the one that many would like to point out on the internet. This has been done in past also that these Muslims just do not want or can not integrate. There is no dearth of people who can quickly slip into homophobic attitude.

There is always the nation-state debate in academic circles and it has not been amicably resolved.
But there is a solution. And the solution is in Islam. A Muslim is supposed to give complete support to the state. This is part of Islam. Of course there is other side too of the coin. The state should give complete undiluted freedom for Muslims to practice Islam. And this is not such a horrific thing as the western society has made it out to be. It is really strange that a society is taking it really personally that Muslims want to implement Islam in their life. No, nobody is imposing Islam on others.
Thus if the Muslims are given freedom to practice Islam then they can be the most predictable part of the society-nearly mechanical and very amicable. Islam means submission to the Will of God. And this entails keeping any promise made with anybody-including the state. No nation-state conflict here.
