One of the atrocities of the modern so called liberated intelligentsia is they they have tried and succeeded to a very large extent to put man and woman in, not a co-operative, but competitive mode. When most of the world is fed up with the bad consequences of materialism there are still some people who are just discovering it and falling into the ditch head long. Look at this piece in Hindu. The teacher was Professor Muhammed Zillur Rehman Khan Sahab who had already served as the Head (not the Chairman) of Physics Department, Dean Faculty of Science and later the Officiating Vice Chancellor. He also had the honour of refusing the Vice Chancellorship. He is the one who made the memorable statement in the context of this refusal:
