Well the water was decontaminated water. The contaminated water was radioactive contaminated. And it came from below the Fukushima Daiichi reactors. Journalists insisted that he demonstrate it clearly that the water is safe. Water was being used for plant irrigation. Perhaps that was not enough for the journos. So Mr Sonoda did the next best thing. He, nervously, drank it. And now journalists, being the nice people they are, are inquiring about his health.
